Opener

This year, the free agency class is stacked in certain positions. The biggest buzz is on the "Big 5" shortstops in this class, which are Corey Seager, Carlos Correa, Marcus Semien, Javier Baez, and Trevor Story. Some, such as Correa and Seager, are expected to be more expensive, gathering contracts over 300 million dollars. Semien is expected to get a lot of money, but his age will decrease his contract worth, and Baez and Story are considered to be the lowest out of these 5, but they will probably still get their bag. This isn't the only stacked class. The starting pitcher market is also expected to be flooded with star studded talent. Examples of this are Max Scherzer, Kevin Gausman, Noah Syndergaard, Jon Gray, Eduardo Rodriguez, Justin Verlander, and more. Some of these pitchers are expected to get massive record-breaking sums of money. The outfielder pool of players is quite talented. Players like Staring Marte, Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber , Byron Buxton, Avisail Garcia, and Mark Canha. The reliver market is pretty strong, with pitchers such as Kendall Graveman and Aaron Loup. The other positions may not be as stacked, but there is some quality talent in this areas.
